Mitigation Bank Credit Availability Certification Form
Effective July 2019, House Bill 521 allows project owners the ability to mitigate on local government land when there are no state and federal mitigation bank credits available. This new law requires local government to conform to the same permitting requirement as mitigation banks. In an effort to ensure compliance, FAMB worked with the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) and local Water Management Districts to develop the following certification form, which verifies bank credit availability:
